Prakiraan beban adalah komponen penting untuk sistem manajemen energi sistem tenaga listrik. Prakiraan beban yang tepat membantu utilitas listrik untuk membuat keputusan komitmen unit, mengurangi kapasitas cadangan berputar dan menjadwalkan rencana pemeliharaan perangkat dengan benar. Hal ini juga mengurangi biaya pembangkitan dan meningkatkan keandalan sistem tenaga listrik. Dalam karya ini, pendekatan logika fuzzy untuk peramalan beban jangka pendek dicoba. Waktu, temperatur dan beban hari sebelumnya yang serupa digunakan sebagai variabel independen untuk peramalan beban jangka pendek.
